Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Jesus Punlay ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the FCSpot mobile app (the "App") and the fcspot.app website (the "Site").

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and a unique identifier from that provider. We don't collect or store passwords.

Profile information. Information you add to your profile, which may include your date of birth (used to verify you meet our minimum age, see section 5), phone number, playing position, skill level, preferred foot and a profile photo.

Content you provide. Clubs, teams, events, attendance responses, scores and messages you create or send within clubs and teams you belong to.

Subscription information. If you subscribe to FCSpot Pro, Apple or Google (through RevenueCat) shares your subscription status, purchase date and renewal date with us. We never receive your payment card details; Apple and Google handle payment entirely.

Notification tokens. If you allow notifications, we store a push token for your device so we can send you notifications. You can turn push notifications off in the App's settings or your device settings.

Advertising data. Free users see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device information, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interaction data. On Android it may also use your device's advertising ID, which you can reset or delete in your device settings. On iOS we don't ask for permission to track you across other apps, so your device's advertising identifier isn't shared. Pro subscribers don't see ads.

Crash and diagnostic data. If the App crashes or hits an error, we collect a crash report through Sentry, including device type, operating system, app version and technical details about the error, so we can fix it.

Android beta signups. If you sign up for the Android beta on the Site, we collect the email address you provide and use it only to invite you to the beta and contact you about it.

2. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How we share your information

We share information only with the service providers needed to run the App and Site, and only as much as they need to provide their service:

Within the App, other members of a club or team you join can see the profile information you choose to share with them, such as your name and position, and your email and phone number if you opt in. Club admins can see information about the members and guests they manage.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of FCSpot, our users or the public.

4. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile and associated personal data, except records we're required to keep for legal or accounting purposes, such as subscription and billing history. To remove an Android beta signup, contact us through the support form.

5. Children's privacy

FCSpot isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Sign-up requires a date of birth and blocks account creation for anyone under 13. If we learn we've collected information from a child under 13, we'll delete it.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can do most of this in the App (editing your profile, changing what contact info you share, turning off notifications or deleting your account), or by contacting us.

7. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and encrypted storage of sign-in credentials on your device. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. International users

Our service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States. By using the App or Site, you consent to this transfer.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the App.

10. Contact us

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to us through the support form.
